GlEaNing From Experience

On Monday, October 17, 2011, Gen1 students gathered for a workshop, 'GlEaNing from Experience,' in Rockland. Gen1 Big Brothers and Sisters sat alongside their Little Sisters as the group addressed a variety of topics related to their college experience thus far. Dr. Greene, and Gen1 interns, Omar English and Jessica Bower, were also in attendance, bringing additional perspectives to the discussion. It was an excellent opportunity for Big Brothers and Sisters to share their sophomore wisdom with the younger, first-year, Little Sisters. The Little Sisters were able to share their observations as well. As questions were presented, everyone chimed in with a story to tell. The workshop proved to be an exercise in personal expression for the Gen1 family as well as an informative event.
