Gen1 Raffle

Gen1 students sell raffle tickets
to the Stevenson community

On April 27, 2011 the Gen1 Program was hard at work selling raffle tickets to members of the Stevenson community. The ultimate goal of the raffle was to raise money that will be used to assemble welcome bags, which will be given to the incoming members of the Gen1 Program for the fall 2011 semester. The Stevenson community purchased tickets for one dollar for a chance to win one of two prizes. The first prize was a movie night basket that included, two DVDs, a bucket of popcorn, a wide variety of movie theater candy as well as six bottles of root beer. The second prize was a technology basket that included three DVDs, a 2GB MP3 player, a 4GB USB thumb drive and a scientific calculator. The raffle was a great success, the program managed to raise over one hundred dollars. The Gen1 students are looking forward to assembling the welcome bags for the newest members of the Gen1 Program.
