Gen1 "Our Own Workshop"

        On March 23, 2011 the Gen1 Program was proud to welcome Nick Farano, Stevenson University's VP for the SGA. The Gen1 students were given the opportunity to develop their own workshop, and as such chose Farano to come and speak to them on how to go about starting an official university recognized Gen1 organization on campus. Farano was a very motivational speaker in urging the students toward considering establishing such an organization. Although a bit overwhelmed at potentially taking ownership for a program that would involve the entire university community, the Gen1ers left weighing the options before them in founding such an organization.
