Dave & Busters

On April, 27, 2012 the Gen1 family spent their final time together at Dave & Busters in Hanover, Maryland. They enjoyed a delicious lunch, exciting games, and a competitive game of bowling. They laughed while reminiscing about the previous two years of the Gen1 Program, but couldn’t refrain from feeling a bit sad that the program was coming to an end. The students reminded themselves that although the program was over, they would keep in touch with each other and Dr. Greene. They thanked Dr. Greene for an awesome two years before heading back to school.

The Orioles vs. The Yankees

On Tuesday, April 10, 2012 the Gen1 family took a trip to Orioles Park at Camden Yards in downtown Baltimore to watch the Orioles vs. the Yankees. The Gen1ers chowed down on the ballpark’s favorites and were excited to sit so close to the field. They cheered for their favorite players while attempting to catch foul balls, and performed antics to make an appearance on the Smile Cam. In the end, the Yankees must have felt the cheers and excitement of their fans a bit more than those of the Orioles because ultimately to score was 5 to 4 in their favor.  The Yankees win!
